COVID-19 FAQ's

How can I help keep myself and others safe?

You must adhere to the government guidelines on physical distancing, staying two metres apart at all times. We'll be providing sanitation and paper towels at the studio for use on site. Please use these on arrival and before leaving. We will be cleaning before your rehearsal but feel free to wipe down any equipment before use. We will also have posters up around the studio, please adhere to these rules.

What sort of cleaning will you be doing?

Your safety and wellbeing is our highest priority. Every room will be cleaned before and after every rehearsal, this includes all equipment. We are focused on making sure any 'frequently touched hotspots' are thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.

When can I practice?

To begin with we are opening Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 10pm. We will be evaluating this on a regular basis and hope to be open at full capacity as soon as it is safe to do so. Keep an eye on our socials for updates on this. Our studios are open to musicians only, please do not bring anybody down who is not practicing.

What equipment do I need to bring?

Our rooms contain PA, mixer, mics and cables, 2x guitar amp, 1x bass amp, 1x drum kit. These will all be cleaned before and after every rehearsal. We also have extras available to hire such as snare and cymbals. We strongly advise that where possible you should try and bring your own equipment/instruments - microphones, guitars etc. Please ensure that you clean your own equipment before entering our studios.

Do I have to wear a mask?

It is now required that everybody (besides people who exempt) wear masks whilst walking through our building and using our facilities. Only when in your room can you then take your mask off.

I've been feeling unwell or diagnosed since my visit to Practice Sheffield, what should I do?

Follow government guidelines on self isolating. Please inform your band members and contact us so that we can inform anybody that may also need to self isolate.
